The All Progressives Congress has commenced a nationwide electronic membership registration exercise, inviting stakeholders, supporters and members—both existing and prospective—to participate across all states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory.
In a statement shared on the party’s official X handle on Friday, APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, said the e-registration is being conducted in all wards nationwide.
Morka explained that current members are required to validate their membership details, while new and intending members are encouraged to register and formally join the party. He added that participants must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid National Identification Number to complete the process.
According to him, the initiative is aimed at digitising the party’s membership register, safeguarding the integrity of its records, improving access to accurate data for planning and management, promoting internal democracy, and reinforcing the APC’s commitment to democratic innovation.
He urged eligible Nigerians to take advantage of the exercise and become part of what he described as the progressive family of Nigeria’s ruling party.
The APC said the e-registration drive forms part of its broader efforts to modernise party operations, enhance transparency and ensure a credible, up-to-date and verifiable membership database nationwide.
