A member of the House of Representatives representing Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency of Kano State, Hon. Barrister Mohammed Hassan, has died in Abuja following a brief illness.
The lawmaker, widely regarded as a legal scholar and respected community leader, passed away on Friday at a hospital in the Federal Capital Territory.
Muhammed Yaro Daba, Chairman of the lawmaker’s Media Promoters, confirmed the development in a statement. He disclosed that the funeral prayer for the late legislator will take place at his residence in Abuja on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
Daba described the deceased as a leader worthy of emulation and prayed for Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus. He also asked God to grant his family the strength to bear the loss.
