Afrobeats sensation Ayra Starr has shared her thoughts on relationships, revealing that physical appearance is not a priority when it comes to choosing a partner.
The singer, whose real name is Oyinkansola Aderibigbe, said she is more drawn to intelligence and ambition than looks.
Speaking during an interview with media personality Diana Eneje, Ayra Starr emphasized the importance of emotional intelligence in any meaningful relationship.
“I don’t have a physical type,” she said. “I’m just attracted to intelligent people. That’s the Gemini in me speaking.”
She added that she values a partner who can inspire and grow alongside her, both emotionally and financially.
“Just be intelligent, motivate me, let me also motivate you. Let’s push each other to succeed. Looks don’t really matter,” she explained.
