The All Progressives Congress (APC) has distanced itself from reports and publications claiming to announce the outcome of its recently conducted party primaries, stating that no official list of successful candidates has been released.
According to the statement issued on Saturday on Saturday and signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the APC urged members, stakeholders, and the general public to disregard any reports purporting to contain the final results of the primaries.
The party described such publications as false and unauthorized, emphasizing that the process of announcing successful candidates is yet to be concluded.
According to the notice, successful candidates will be formally notified through the party’s official channels before Certificates of Return are issued in line with established procedures.
“The All Progressives Congress (APC) hereby informs the general public that it has not released the official list of successful candidates from its recently conducted party primaries,” the statement read.
The APC further advised party faithful and the public to rely only on information released through its recognized communication platforms to avoid being misled by unverified reports.
The clarification comes amid widespread speculation and circulation of purported lists of winners from the party’s primary elections across various states.
The party reiterated its commitment to transparency and due process, assuring members that official announcements would be made at the appropriate time.
