Danish captain, Christian Eriksen has collapsed again during an international friendly between Denmark and Ukraine in preparation for World Cup.
Eriksen is however conscious after he received treatment according to Denmark Football Federation.
Eriksen clutched his chest and fell to the ground in the 79th minute before medical personnel rushed to the midfielder’s aid.
The match, which Denmark were leading 2-1, has now been abandoned.
“Christian Eriksen is conscious and feeling well according to the circumstances. The match has been called off.” Denmark confirmed on its official X account.
It comes five years after Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest at Euro 2020 during a group stage match against Finland, when his heart stopped for roughly five minutes.
