The Imole Campaign Council (TICC) has welcomed the appointment of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke as the state coordinator of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) Presidential Campaign Council, pledging to mobilise 1.5 million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the forthcoming presidential election.
The council described Adeleke’s appointment as well deserved, expressing confidence that the governor would justify the trust reposed in him by the President through a strong electoral performance in Osun State.
In a statement signed by its Director-General, Senator Olalere Oyewumi, TICC assured Tinubu that all Accord Party structures in Osun State would work towards his re-election.
The council also called on residents of the state to continue supporting Adeleke, urging them to maintain the confidence they demonstrated in him during the governorship election.
It added that the governor would remain committed to fulfilling his campaign promises, describing support for Tinubu’s re-election bid as a way of supporting Adeleke’s administration.
The statement reads: “The Imole Campaign Council welcomes the appointment of Governor Adeleke as State Coordinator of the PBAT Presidential Campaign Council in Osun.
“The appointment is a well-deserved one. We assure the President that his confidence in the ability of Governor Adeleke to deliver Osun in the presidential election will not be misplaced.
“We promise the President, just as Governor Adeleke had said some time ago, that we will deliver 1.5 million votes to ensure his victory in the coming presidential election.
“Our message to the people of Osun State is to keep trusting and supporting Governor Adeleke as he continues to deliver on his campaign promises. A vote for President Tinubu is support for Governor Adeleke.”
