Nigerian comedian and content creator, Broda Shaggi, has returned to social media after months of silence following a shooting incident that left him injured.
The skit maker, who had been absent from social media since March 2026, shared an emotional video on his Instagram page late Tuesday, revisiting the incident that reportedly occurred while he was filming at Sango Ota Bridge in Ogun State.
In the video, Broda Shaggi became emotional as he described the shooting as “a day in my life I wished never happened.”
He also shared a brief clip showing him being rushed to the hospital with a gunshot injury and visible blood stains.
The development comes months after news of the incident sparked concern among his fans, many of whom had been worried about his whereabouts and condition following his sudden disappearance from the internet.
The incident reportedly occurred on March 9, 2026, although the news became public on March 13.
The Lagos State Police Command had earlier confirmed that the incident was reported by a private hospital in the Alakuko area of the state, where the comedian was initially taken for medical attention.
Broda Shaggi, while announcing his return, said he would provide more details about the shooting on Wednesday.
His return is expected to bring relief to fans who have been awaiting updates on his condition since the incident.
