Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has partnered with Facebook to promote her upcoming feature film, The Four: No One Fights Alone, as she seeks to extend the movie’s reach to a wider audience ahead of its December release.
Akindele announced the collaboration on her verified Instagram page on Thursday, saying the partnership would give fans access to exclusive content and updates as the film prepares to hit cinemas.
“We’re taking THE FOUR to the world, and Facebook is coming with us,” she wrote.
The filmmaker expressed excitement about the partnership, acknowledging the support she has received from audiences over the years and describing the collaboration as another step in her creative journey.
“I’m so excited to announce my partnership with Facebook for THE FOUR: NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE! The love you’ve shown me and my stories over the years has brought us this far. Now, let’s make this next chapter one to remember!” she stated.
According to Akindele, the collaboration will give followers a closer look at the film’s production journey, including preparations, premiere outfits and behind-the-scenes moments.
“The preparations, premiere looks, behind-the-scenes moments and all the gist? You know I won’t leave you out!” she added.
She encouraged fans to follow three Facebook pages FUNKE AKINDELE, OFFICIAL FUNKE AKINDELE and FAANTV — for exclusive content and firsthand updates on the project.
The announcement comes as Akindele continues to build on her success in Nigeria’s film industry, where her recent productions have attracted significant cinema audiences and demonstrated the commercial potential of locally produced films.
Her previous feature film, Behind the Scenes, reportedly grossed more than ₦2.7 billion, further raising expectations for her next project.
The Four: No One Fights Alone is scheduled for release on December 11, 2026. The Facebook partnership is expected to support its promotional campaign by giving fans access to content beyond the cinema experience.
