Popular Content creator and Nollywood actor Dada Oluwasola Tolani, popularly known as Motolani Odobodobo, has opened up about the unexpected romantic attention he receives from men and the way some women perceive him.
The Ekiti State-born actor disclosed this during a recent interview with Oyinmomo TV, where he was asked if men sometimes make romantic advances towards him.
Dada confirmed that such approaches happen, saying he is often surprised by them.
“They do come. They come and it provokes me,” he said.
The actor explained that the attention once prompted him to ask a friend whether he behaved or walked in a way that could make people assume he was interested in men.
He said his friend told him that he did not exhibit such mannerisms, leaving him puzzled by the advances.
“I’m always surprised. They do come,” Dada added.
Despite receiving advances he does not welcome, the actor said he does not judge people based on their personal choices. Instead, he prefers to ignore such approaches.
“I don’t judge people,” he said. “That is their own way of life, they know what they got themselves into. I don’t judge. I don’t just reply them. That is it.”
Dada also spoke about his interactions with women, claiming that some of them have developed the impression that he is a player and consequently do not take him seriously.
“Girls don’t take me serious. They used to think I’m actually a player,” he said.
The actor is known for his work in Yoruba-language movies and social media content. His credits include Chantel (2025), Eni Egbere (2025) and Mr Raymond (2024).
His remarks offer an insight into the different perceptions he encounters in his personal and public life, particularly how assumptions about his personality may influence the way people relate to him.
