Chloe Bailey, the American singer and actress, has addressed swirling rumors linking her romantically with Nigerian music sensation Burna Boy.
The speculation gained traction following Chloe’s recent visit to Nigeria, where the Swarm star, 26, embraced the country’s vibrant culture and culinary delights.
During an interview on The Breakfast Club, Chloe reflected on her experience in Nigeria but sidestepped questions about her rumored relationship with the Afrobeats superstar.
“Nigeria is so beautiful. I had the best time,” Chloe shared enthusiastically. “I had some good food—pepper soup and lots of spicy chicken. It’s really good. I really had a great time.”
When asked if Burna Boy would be her date to the upcoming NAACP Image Awards, Chloe laughed off the question, saying, “You have to ask him.”
Despite the interviewer’s efforts to get a definitive answer about their relationship, Chloe remained poised. Smiling, she remarked, “Well, I am a grown woman. I had a great time in Nigeria.”
