Super Eagles forward Victor Boniface has addressed reports suggesting he ended his four-year relationship with Norwegian Rikke Hermine over a disagreement about a prenuptial agreement.

The reports claimed that Hermine insisted on a legal marriage without a prenup, which led to the breakup.

A prenup is a contract that protects the assets and finances of both parties in case of divorce or death.

One such report, published by African Hub on social media, stated, “Boniface is now focused on protecting his financial future and avoiding potential issues.”

In response to the claims, the Bayer Leverkusen star took to X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, posting a message, now deleted, saying the reports were false.

“Stop posting fake shit you guys know nothing about… Una go just carry phone without knowing Wetinx Dey sup just post,” he wrote, partly in Pidgin English. “No be everybody be like una sister. So respect urself. Everything you guys say about her are all lies.”

This comes amid rumors surrounding Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola’s alleged £100 million fortune, which he might be sharing with his wife, Cristina Serra, as they navigate a divorce. Serra is reportedly set to keep their £8.5 million mansion in Barcelona.
