Nigerian gospel artist Lawrence Oyor has reacted to the viral video of popular crossdresser Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, dancing to his hit song “Favour.”
During a recent sermon, Oyor shared his shock and disbelief upon seeing Bobrisky, known for his controversial online presence, enjoying his music. The singer admitted that witnessing Bobrisky dance to “Favour” nearly led him to deny the song, as it was such an unexpected moment.
Oyor said, “I saw one of the most unexpected people on the internet singing ‘Favour.’ I almost denied the song.
“I’m not sure how it reached me, but someone sent it to me. I saw Bob—yes, the very risky Bob—dancing to ‘Favour, he surrounds me like a shield.’
“I had to watch it three times, the shock! You too? And he even said that the song is the summary of the message. I’ve never doubted myself like that before. How? Like I told you last week, something is happening.”
The video, initially posted on Instagram, showed Bobrisky dancing to Oyor’s hit track while expressing gratitude for God’s favour. In his caption, he shared how God has shown him mercy countless times and mentioned that despite undergoing seven surgeries, he still maintains a fresh and healthy appearance.
