Chelsea Football Club has confirmed the signing of highly-rated Portuguese winger, Geovany Quenda, from Sporting CP.
The deal, finalized after quick negotiations, will see the 18-year-old join the Blues in 2026. Quenda has passed his medical, which clears the way for his move to Stamford Bridge.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Quenda has agreed to a seven-year contract with Chelsea, which also includes an option for an additional year.
The young talent has reportedly given his approval to the club’s future plans under new manager Enzo Maresca.
Romano shared the news: “Chelsea agrees to terms for top Portuguese talent Geovany Quenda. After a swift negotiation, the deal is done, and he will join Chelsea in 2026. The agreement with Sporting CP is complete, and Quenda is on board with Chelsea’s vision and Maresca’s plans. His seven-year contract is confirmed, with an option to extend for another year.”
