Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski has been named in the squad for Tuesday’s Champions League semifinal second leg against Inter Milan after recovering from a hamstring injury.

The 36-year-old Poland international, who has scored 40 goals this season, missed the club’s last four matches, including the Copa del Rey final win over Real Madrid and the first leg against Inter. He resumed training over the weekend and is now in contention for the crucial tie at San Siro.

However, left-back Alejandro Balde remains sidelined with a hamstring injury sustained on April 12. Although there were initial hopes of a return for this fixture, he will instead aim to be fit for Sunday’s LaLiga Clásico against Real Madrid.

Barça will also be without right-back Jules Koundé, who picked up a hamstring injury in the first leg. Midfielder Marc Casadó is back in training but not match-fit, while Pablo Torre and long-term absentee Marc Bernal also miss out. Goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen is ineligible for Champions League selection.

The tie remains finely poised after a 3-3 draw in last week’s first leg at the Olympic Stadium. The winner of Tuesday’s match will face either Paris Saint-Germain or Arsenal in the final in Munich on May 31.
