Former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has again stated that the major challenge facing the country can be solved by a dedicated, committed and focused leader.
Obasanjo said this when he hosted members of the Nigerian Association for Young Adults of Canada led by its president, Mr Shola Agboola.
The Ex leader described the country as one blessed with abundant human and capital resources but has not fulfilled its potential.
He said, “I look at the challenges we’re are facing and I asked myself, can we make it? Yes, we can make it. But we need 20 years of competent, determined, committed, focused progressive and seriously performing leader that could pilot her affairs with a mission and vision of moving the country to greater height.
Earlier in speech, NAYA president, Mr Agboola stated that their mission in the country is to invest into the lives of the people. He added that the visit to the ex-leader is part of the nationwide consultation his organization has embarked upon.
Also on the train was Ambassador Zyra McCloud, His Eminence Benjamin Mustapha, Jumoke Ibrahim and other members of the association.
