The Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, is set to be crowned as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland on Friday, September 26, 2025.
Findings revealed that his nomination has received the approval of Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde.
It was also gathered that a state delegation held a meeting with Ladoja and members of the Olubadan-In-Council at his Bodija residence on Wednesday.
Confirming the development, a media aide to the monarch, Adeola Oloko, said, “Oba Ladoja will be enthroned as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland on Friday, September 26, 2025.
“The ceremony is billed for the ancient Mapo Hall in Ibadan, the state capital.”
It will be recalled that the monarch had earlier met with the kingmakers at his residence on Tuesday.
