President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has cut short his planned two-week working vacation and is expected back in Abuja tomorrow, Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

This recent development was confirmed by his media aide, Bayo Onanuga in a statement titled: “President Tinubu Ends Vacation Ahead of Schedule, Returns to Abuja Tomorrow.”

According to the statement, the President left Nigeria on September 4, 2025, for a working holiday in Europe and was originally scheduled to split his leave between France and the United Kingdom.

While in Paris last week, Tinubu met with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace, where both leaders discussed strengthening bilateral relations and agreed to deepen cooperation for shared prosperity and global stability.

When the trip was first announced on September 4, the Presidency had said the President would embark on a 10-working-day vacation in Europe before returning to Nigeria.
