Not fewer than eighteen members of the Super Eagles squad have reported to camp in Rabat, Morocco, as Nigeria intensifies preparations for Thursday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier playoff against Gabon.
The team opened camp on Sunday, and training went into full swing on Monday under the supervision of head coach Eric Chelle.
Among the early arrivals were team captain William Troost-Ekong, Calvin Bassey, and Benjamin Fredrick, who led the first training session. Other key players already in camp include Wilfred Ndidi, Stanley Nwabali, Alex Iwobi, Samuel Chukwueze, Moses Simon, and Chidera Ejuke.
Three more players are expected to join the squad before the all-important clash with Gabon on Thursday evening.
