The Convener of the Osun Youth Conference and special assistant to the Governor Ademola Adeleke on Youth Mobilization, Segun Oyewale, has reiterated that the fourth edition of the Osun Youth Conference and Awards will focus on practical solutions to the challenges confronting young people across the state.

‎During an interview with Abiodun Taiwo on Insightful Moment, Oyewale noted that the conference is designed as a platform where youths can discuss not only their problems but concrete solutions.

According to him, this year’s edition will go beyond a routine gathering, as it reflects the growing interest of young people in entrepreneurship and economic independence.

He said, “the edition will feature stakeholders such as traditional rulers and policy influencers who can act on recommendations raised during deliberations.”

The governor’s aide added that agencies such as the Bank of Industry (BOI) and the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) will participate by mentoring young entrepreneurs and sharing practical business knowledge.

‎The convener ascertained the availability of notable personalities expected to grace the event which include Dr. Bukola Saraki , Sen Natasha Akpoti, Barrister Pelumi Olajegbese, Bamikole Omisore, RAVE FM CEO Dr. Femi Adefila, among others.

While inviting young people to the event, Oyewale said ‎“It’s a gathering for all young people to come together to discuss not just the problem but solutions to what are the issues that are affecting you as young people,” he stated.

‎He emphasized that the Osun Youth Conference is not a political event but a meeting of intellectuals and forward-thinking young citizens committed to shaping the future of the state. He noted that Osun is blessed with “resourceful, energetic and highly talented youths,” and the conference aims to amplify their voices through dialogue.
