The Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has revealed that the Federal Government is preparing to publish the names of individuals and groups responsible for financing terrorism in Nigeria.

Speaking on Sunday during an interview on TVC, Bwala said the Tinubu administration is already taking “far-reaching decisions” on national security and Nigerians will begin to see the impact of these measures in the coming days.

According to him, terrorism has grown beyond a local challenge and has become a global concern that requires strong international cooperation.

He explained that major world powers now recognise the need to support countries like Nigeria, where extremist groups have tried to widen their operations.

“Since the 9/11 attacks, terrorism has been handled as a global threat. Any country where terrorists operate automatically becomes an issue of international interest,” he said.

Bwala noted that many extremist activities previously concentrated in the Middle East have now shifted toward the Sahel region, creating fresh security challenges that demand coordinated regional and global action.

He assured Nigerians that the government is intensifying its efforts to confront the menace, both internally and through international partnerships.

“At the domestic level, the government is taking decisive action. In the coming days, Nigerians will know who the terrorists are and those sponsoring them,” he added.
