Nollywood actress has revealed that she is no longer interested in getting married again following her separation from former husband, .
The actress made the disclosure during a livestream conversation with TikTok personality Jarvis at her Children’s Day carnival held in Asaba, Delta State.
Despite her changed view on marriage, Daniels said she still hopes to have more children, particularly a daughter, as she believes motherhood feels different when raising a girl child.
According to her, having sons has been a rewarding experience, but she now desires the unique bond that comes with raising a daughter.
“But for some reason, I’ve checked my mind out of getting married. I’m yet to have a girl and I must have a girl,” she said during the livestream.
The mother of two explained that girls often share a deeper emotional connection with their mothers, adding that raising daughters comes with greater responsibility because mothers naturally become their first role models.
She noted that while boys can easily look up to father figures, mothers play a more direct role in shaping the lives and values of female children.
Daniels also reflected on family relationships and gender roles, saying women tend to remain emotionally attached to their homes even after marriage.
“Men will grow, get married and focus more on building family. But for women, she will always remember home,” she added.
Daniels and Nwoko got married in 2019, a union that attracted widespread public attention due to their significant age difference. The couple share two sons together.
Their marriage later faced public controversy in 2025 after allegations surfaced from Nwoko claiming the actress was battling substance abuse and required rehabilitation.
Daniels, however, denied the allegations and accused the senator of manipulation, psychological control and abuse.
Following the dispute, the actress reportedly moved into her own residence and has since maintained that she is single.
