La Liga giants, Real Madrid have denied the report suggesting it’s working on signing Chelsea and Argentina midfielder, Enzo Fernandez.
Stories have been around for months about Enzo and Real: talks, agreements, negotiations are going.
Statement credited to Fernández’ agent, Javier Pastore that he is working to ensure the midfielder leaves Stamford Bridge this summer, also fueled the speculations.
However, Madrid release official statement to clarify it all, stating that the speculations are untrue.
“The club wishes to state that it has 𝐍𝐎𝐓 made any efforts, either directly or indirectly, to sign Enzo Fernández and also has 𝐍𝐎 intention of undertaking such a transfer”, Real say.
“Real Madrid wishes to express its utmost respect for Enzo Fernández as well as for Chelsea. Precisely out of respect for institution like Chelsea; due to the principles of institutional loyalty that have always guided Real Madrid’s actions… the club considers necessary to deny unfounded speculations, which are completely fake”, Madrid statement says.
