Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has reignited his boxing rivalry with Nollywood actor Charles Okocha after the duo engaged in a heated face-off ahead of their much-anticipated celebrity rematch in Lagos.

The dramatic confrontation took place during a pre-fight event on Friday, where both entertainers exchanged insults, stood toe-to-toe and threw mock punches before security personnel intervened to prevent the situation from escalating.

Videos from the event have since gone viral across social media, drawing widespread reactions from fans eager to witness another showdown between the two celebrities.

Portable, who has increasingly embraced celebrity boxing alongside his music career, has built a reputation for backing his outspoken personality with appearances inside the ring. The singer has participated in several high-profile celebrity bouts in recent years, using the sport to settle public rivalries and entertain his growing fan base.

His first meeting with Okocha ended in a unanimous decision victory for the “Zazuu” crooner, a result that sparked debates online and prompted the actor to activate the rematch clause.

Speaking confidently at the pre-fight event, Portable insisted history would repeat itself when they meet again.

“I’m the man. I don prepare well. I go win again. I go fight again. I go beat Charles Okocha,” the singer declared.

Okocha, however, dismissed Portable’s verbal attacks, urging him to reserve his energy for the boxing ring.

“So what are you talking about? Can you save that for the ring? Don’t disrespect me. I’m not your mate,” the actor fired back.

The face-off ended without any physical altercation as organisers and security officials stepped in to separate both men.

The rematch, tagged “Unfinished Business” under the Chaos in the Ring boxing card, is expected to attract fans of entertainment and combat sports alike.

Organisers have confirmed that the contest will be streamed live, giving viewers another opportunity to watch the celebrity rivals settle their score inside the ring.

The bout is scheduled to hold on July 31, 2026, at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, with many fans already divided over whether Portable can extend his unbeaten run against Okocha or if the Nollywood actor will avenge his previous defeat.
