The second term of President Muhammadu Buhari is loaded with expectations from all sectors, thus, it can never be the time to test microphone or an avenue for knowledge-testing. The economy, security, education and every other sector are calling for experienced and proven individuals to head them.
With the crash of oil price at the International market, which characterised the change administration (first term), the need for a real, impactful and genuine diversification of our economy can not be better appreciated than now. Although, much have been said and done about this, but it has been a uni-directional – Agriculture.
Now there is a need to deepen the diversification and a very important and veritable aspect is Information and Communication Technology (ICT). ICT is one of the fastest growing sector in Nigeria, with our our population alone, Nigeria stand a chance to get billions of dollars through this sector if well managed by and experience expert like Mr Sunday Akin Dare.

•Contributing towards achieving 5G fastest connection that will enhance Businesses and Country growth.
•Contributing towards More Efficient Use of Spectrum Resources.
•Author of a book titled “Regulating Telecommunication for National Development” as Advised/Mandated by Senate committee on ICT during his screening as a commissioner in 2016.
With the aforementioned contributions and achievements, Mr Dare remains the most experienced man in the telecommunications industry among the ministers designate for the Next Level cabinet. Ngerians hope and pray that Mr Sunday Akin Dare should be trusted with the Minister of Communication Portfolio for a better, improved and efficient job towards the development of our Country through Telecommunication.
