The Ebonyi State National Assembly election petition tribunal has sacked Hon Lazarus Ogbee, member representing Ezza South/Ikwo Federal Constituency in House of Representatives.
The three-man declared Comrade Chinedu Ogah, candidate of the All Progressives Congress as the rightful winner of the February 23 elections held in the zone.
Ogbee, a candidate of the People’s Democratic Party was declared the the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The court said that the poll was rigged in favour of the PDP candidate and order the INEC to withdraw certificatee of return issued to Ogbee and issued fresh to Ogah.
In the meantime, the supporters of the APC in the state have trooped out to celebrate the court judgement.
