The National Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Abia State has cancelled the election of Senate Chief whip, Orji Uzor Kalu as the Senator representing Abia North.
The three-man panel ordered fresh polls in the senatorial.
Kalu was elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the February 23 election.
He was dragged to court by the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party who claimed that the election did not comply with electoral act.
