A video emerged online showing the moment a pastor stopped a man from proposing to his daughter inside the church.
In a church filled with members, the young man knelt down to propose to his lover who was adorned in a white gown, only to be flagged down by the pastor who also doubles as the girl’s father.
The pastor insisted that he had no idea that the man was into a relationship with his daughter, and that he should come personally to him and explain himself before anything can go on between them.
Members of the congregation also expressed their annoyance about the fact that, of all places, the man chose the church to propose to her.
