The Honourable member representing Irepodun/Olorunda/Orolu/Osogbo Federal Constituency and Deputy Chairman, House committee on water resources, Bukola Oyewo has congratulated Christians across his constituency and Osun state in general.
Oyewo, in a statement he signed on Wednesday and obtained by InsightMedia in Osogbo admonished Christian faithful to remain steadfast and adherent to the what Jesus Christ represents.
He said, “I join all Christian faithful to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ whose life is a symbol of peace, love and sacrifice.
“Undoubtedly, the virtues of every Christian should include love to one another, peaceful coexistence and giving to the less privileged just as Christ himself laid down his life for us. These attributes are what is required to ensure peace and unity among us as a people.
“In our celebration, let us not forget our duty as responsible citizen to obey the law, maintain peace and shun acts of violence and criminality, and praying for the prosperity of our Nation. For the desired development and positive transformation, let’s join hands together to support the Government of President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
