A front line community leader in the State of Osun and Permanent Secretary, State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Alhaji Fatai Kolawole has felicitated with Christians across the globe particularly those in the State of Osun on the celebration of this year’s Christmas which commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ.
The felicitation message was contained in a press statement released to newsmen today from his country home, Modakeke, Ife East Area Office, a copy which was obtained by our correspondent in Osogbo, Kolawole described the birth of Jesus Christ as a period of light over darkness as revealed by the two renowned Holy books.
The foremost educationist, however, charged Christians to emulate all the virtues of Jesus Christ whose life centered on love for one another, kindness, empathy, and total submission to the will of Almighty.
In his words, the SUBEB helmsman said” I want to congratulate all Christians all over the world particularly the Christians community of our dear State of Osun on this year’s commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ”
“The birth of Jesus Christ is very significant to all mankind irrespective of race and religion and also taught us many lessons which must be strictly adhered to by all for a worthy life”
Kolawole maintained that if all human being emulates the virtues of Jesus Christ, the world will be a better place for all.
He, however, wishes everyone a happy celebration.
