An alumnus of the University of Ilorin, simply identified as Azeezat has been raped and murdered in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
The incident occurred in Aba Eko area, Akinyele Local Government. Witnesses who confirmed the incident wait it happened at the early hours of Friday said the victim was raped and murdered overnight.
It was gathered that the deceased is currently on her Master’s Degree program in University of Ibadan. At the time of filling this report, police have arrived the place.
It was learnt the deceased was killed after being raped.
Azeezat was described as an easy going fellow and residents of the area have called for arrest of her assailant.
