The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Osun State Chapter has urged Nigerians not to lose hope despite the challenges the Nigeria is facing as we celebrate her 60th Independence Day.

This call was made by the institute to felicitate with the country on the Diamond Jubilee Anniversary of the nation.

The chairman of the institute Prince Adebisi Popoola made this call in a release by the institute on Wednesday.

Popoola enjoined the people of the country not to loose hope in the country as the country is witnessing some economy recession, that it’s a global thing which will soon be a things of the past.

“As the Government is making all efforts to give the populace the solace and conducive environment for growth in business, economy and infrastructure.

“In view of this, there is urgent need for the Re-orietation of the people to desist from all acts capable of jeopardizing the interest of the generality of Nigerians.

“Osun NIPR strongly believes that to reposition the Country to the path of greatness is our collective responsibility.

“Government at all levels should strive hard to address the challenges facing the Country by providing enabling environment for equal opportunity; provide jobs for the teaming unemployed Youths, intensify effort on poverty alleviation and provide adequate security for the People as this is the genuine path to greater Nigeria.”
