An Osun State High Court sitting in Ikirun has order reinstatement of Hon. Soji Adagunodo as the state Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party in Osun State.

The court, while ruling on an ex-parte filed by Adagunodo, Justice Adebola R. A. granted all the reliefs sought by the plaintiff.

The defendants in the PDP, Hon. Sunday Bisi, Hon. Sunday Akanfe and Prince Bola Ajao.

Adagunodo prayed to the court to grant “an order of Mandatory interim Injunction of this Honourable Court restraining and/or reversing all previous actions taken by the Defendants/respondents against the Plaintiff/Applicant pending the determination of the Motion On Notice.

“An order of Mandatory interim injunction restoring and/or recognizing the Plaintiff/Applicant as the Substantive Osun State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party pending the determination of the Motion On Notice.

“An order of Mandatory interim Injunction restoring and/or recognizing the Plaintiff/Applicant as the Substantive Osun State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party with full rights and privileges attached to the office pending the pending the determination of the Motion On Notice.”

The court, “The Plaintiff/Applicant approached this Hanourable Court with Originating Summons, Affidavit of Urgency Motion Exparte for Mandatory Injunctions and Motion On Notice for Mandatory Injunctions, all of which he filed at the Registry of this Court on Monday 2 November 2020. This Motion Exparte for Mandatory Injunction is fortified with 29 Grounds for bringing the Application, the Affidavit in support and a galaxy of documentary exhibits and Counsels Written Address.

The bottom line of the case put forward by the Plaintiff/Applicant is that he was duly elected Chairman of the 1st Defendant/Respondent in Osun State about two years ago. That he was elected to stay in office for four years. That however due to conspiracy among the Defendants Respondents, various stops have been taken to remove him from office illegally, and replace him with the 2 and 3ed Defendants/Hespondents respectively. That in doing that the Defendants/Respondents have breached the Constitution of the 1″ Defendant/Respondent, his (Plaintiff/Applicants) Constitutional rights of fair hearing, due process and natural justice. Learned Counter to the Applicant in his submission. urged me to grant the application.”
