A dramatic moment is currently ongoing at the Federal Polytechnic Ede, Osun State as members of Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic are slugging it out with the Rector of the institution, Dr John Taiwo Adekolawole.
InsightMedia gathered that the lecturers have deflated the tires of the official car of the Rector parked in front of the Senate building.
The Rector has also invited policemen from Ede police division to protect him from the awaiting humiliation.
The crisis, it was gathered, in not unconnected with the unpaid earned allowances of the academic staff that led to the closure of the Polytechnic’s gate by protesting students in November.
