Founder, Salvation Ministries, Port Harcourt, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, has boasted that he would be the greatest and richest preacher of his time.
A report by PM News quoted Ibiyeomie as making the boast in a sermon in which he said his father was the richest preacher during his time and that he would be the richest preacher in his time.
The portal quoted the frontline cleric as saying: “Did God say anything to you? From his word? Then praise him based on that. You don’t praise him based on what is happening. You praise him based on what is written and what is written will take over what is happening.
“Now listen, what was happening to Abraham was that he had no child, but what was spoken to him is that he will be a father of many nations. Based on that, he praised God. Did God make it happen? Today, your praise will make God do what he has said.
“Are you hearing what I am saying. Though your beginning be small, thy latter end shall greatly increase. What is happening is that you have a SA shop up but you are praising God because you know it will increase. How many understand this?
“I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging bread. Lord I’m praising you because I know that at a time I will give to people.
“Are you hearing what I am saying? Though it may look as if things are not working but I know that I will be the greatest and the richest preacher of my own time.
- “Hello…..Richest in my own time. My father in his own time was the richest. Me, I will be the richest in my time, though it may not look like that now but that is what I believe.”
