As the 2018 governorship election in Osun State draws nearer, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Adeleke has expressed his interest to view for the ticket of Peoples Democratic Party.
The Osun west Senator made his intention known in a letter sent to the national chairman of the party, Prince Uche Secondus.
The letter reads in part, “In accordance with the directive of the leadership of our great party, I wish to respectfully express my intent to view for the ticket of our party as its candidate in the Osun State governorship election holding on September 22nd this year.
“I’m a financial member of the party from Sagba Abegunde ward 2 of Ede North local government.
“My decision to express my intention is based on my conviction that I possess all it takes to unite leaders and members of our party and to galvanize the electorates towards ensuring a resounding success for the PDP in the forthcoming polls”.
With this action, the Senator has ended speculations about his intention.
