Member representing Osogbo State Constituency and candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the 2023 polls, Hon. Taofeek Badamosi Abolubode has said his intention to seek reelection is to consolidate on his achievements in the first term.
Abolubode said this on Tuesday while he was addressing some members of the Constituency who paid him a visit.
He said his records of achievements as a first time lawmaker are in the public domain, stating that he is ready to do more if re-elected.
He said, “In my first time as a lawmaker, I have impacted several lives significantly. My intervention cut across education, health, scholarships for members of Osogbo National Students Union, distribution of working equipment to youths, women and artisan groups.
“This I have done without have special allocation from the State and without negatively affecting my legislative assignment in the house.
“As the Chairman, House committee on works and transport, my major area of oversight has been to supervise the ministry and the contractors to ensure that quality jobs are delivered to Osun people. We must have value for money and this i have done diligently.”
Abolubode called on the youths and members of the APC to close ranks and work at the grassroots and from door to door to canvass votes for APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.
“Please go to the grassroots and start canvassing for our party. Asiwaju Bola Tinubu remains the best man to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023 and we all must move from house to house to seek votes for him and all candidates of the APC.” He concluded.
