It was a jubilation in Obokun and Oriade Federal constituency as Hon Debo Aladekomo obtained the nomination and expression of interest forms of the All Progressives Congress.
Aladekomo, while expressing his interest to represent the people of the constituency, promised to bring a new dawn of development to the area.
He said “I am delighted to express my gratitude to God Almighty and good people of Ijesha North Federal Constituency for granting me the clarion call to duty of service for a new dawn of monumental developments and socio-economic growth.
“I am most humbled to serve my constituency, undoubtedly as a youth colossus with unflinching passion and ardent care for my people, precipitating my decision to deliver the long awaited dividends of democracy succinctly, deserving of our people”.
Aladekomo is an indigene of Ere-Ijesha City in Oriade Local Government Area of Osun State who is a distinct role model, technology enthusiast and former banker with cognate experience in ICT, FINTECH and human resources management
He added that, “Most important to note that Ijesha North Federal Constituency had not experience succint representation at the Federal House of Representatives, due to dearth of right leadership, precipitating my decision to serve my people at the National Assembly come 2019.
“As part of of the measure to achieving this noble vision of liberation, I have strategically outlined areas of synergy towards it actualization tagged: Reality 2019.
He highlighted the cardinal points of his programmes which has grassroots development as its focal point.
The programmes are;
Establishment of the Ijesha North Development Foundation(INDF) and put up the Ijesha North Development Trust Funds(INDTF), aimed at ameliorating poverty and concentrating on critical areas of needs and Empowerment of the children, youths, women and artisans. With large focus on education, financial support loans/grants and training through established Volunteer services and vocational skill acquisition centres.
I shall be working with 1000 youth ambassadors spread across Oriade and Obokun Local Government Council Areas of Osun State, who shall act as a catalyst on the realization of this noble vision.
I am extremely passionate towards the actualization of my set mandate to urgently end poverty and hunger, while creating robust long term programs suitable for each specific wards in the Ijesha North Federal Constituency.
I am poised to host a monthly town hall Constituency Assembly meeting, aimed at cross fertilizing ideas on critical areas of needs and development, while also giving reports of activities in line with the terms of my legislative duties.
I shall be sponsoring bills and laws specifically designed to add value to democratic institutions as a nation.
I shall use my position to draw more developmental programs from the state and federal governments, in the overall interests of the good people of my constituency.
We shall commence educational scholarship programs for indigent and brilliant students from primary, secondary to higher institutions from my constituency.
We shall graciously appreciate to launch a annual Quiz/Inter School Debate and sport festival in Ijesha North Federal Constituency.
As part of my plan to create an enabling opportunities and supports for the Artisans and fresh unemployed graduates, I shall work out a partnership program with both local and international investors for a better Ijesha North Federal Constituency.
