Adagunodo who voted at his Ilowa Ward 4 unit 5 at about 12:30pm said the results of the election so far has proven that, PDP was leading.
He said the allegation of vote buying by APC was a bail out statement to present to their paymasters as reason for their failure.
The PDP chairman claimed that, PDP has opposition party has no financial strength to buy vote.
“Is it possible for PDP to buy votes and APC will be looking? That is just an excuse to cover their face in shame. You know majority of them have collected money from their paymasters and they must look for an excuse to give their masters.
“Some timber and calibre of APC will lose their strong hold”.
Meanwhile, there was report of ballot box snatching at wards 8 and 12 of Orolu local government area of the state.
According to an eyewitness, some hoodlums invaded the units at around 12noon and went away with the boxes.
The electorates and security agents ran after them but they made their ways with it.
The ballot boxes were recovered later from them after minutes and voting continued.
However, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the cancellation of the two wards.
