The Osun Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA) has announced the 2023 community day and exhibition of developmental projects.
The announcement was made by the General Manager of the Agency, Mrs Funmi Abokede on Friday, in Osogbo during an engagement with stakeholders from all local government areas across the State.
Abokede stated that “The Community Development Day of 2023 will be held on the 28th December, at Osogbo Township Stadium where the achievements of the Agency in all communities will be displayed”.
“The main purpose of this community day is to show that the funds given to the State Government are well utilised and was used to develop the communities that are in need of developmental projects “.
“The Governor of the State, Sen Ademola Adeleke has played a major role in the development of the communities through the funds given to the Agency to develop these communities, so its a celebration day to celebrate the Governor and the achievements”, The General Manager stated.
The General Manager also revealed that there will be an exhibition, that will be accompanied by Media, where the newsmen will ask the community members of how their communities problems, how they were solved and the impact of the agency in the communities.
“Traders should also bring their farm products, food items and other items that can be sold during the community fair, it is also an avenue to market your products as a means to earn a living that day”, she explained.
Abokede also used the avenue to applaud community members for their support and loyalty in utilising the revenue assigned to them.
She urged the communities participating in the projects to put on Adire, the local attire.
