The Federal University Oye-Ekiti has invited the Director of Centre for Black Culture and International Understanding, Prof Siyan Oyeweso to speak at its 50bn endowment fund raising ceremony at the University.
This was revealed in the letter signed by Prof. (Mrs) O.M. Oyawoye, the Director of Advancement Centre on Wednesday.
The letter also added that the fund raising was alongside the award night ceremony of the university.
The letter partly reads, ” FUOYE is embarking on a significant fundraising event for the purpose of uplifting the University’s image through impactful Infrastructure Developments and Cutting-Edge Research.
“In view of this, it my pleasure to invite you as a resource person to speak on “Friends Raising, Endowments and Capital Campaign: Pathways for 21st Century University””, it read.
The program has been scheduled to hold on Friday, 9th February, 2024, 2:30pm – 5pm at Faculty of Science, Lecture Hall.
