Mr Olalekan Amos, identified as a driver has been apprehended by Osun State Police for stealing and selling of three engine Amplifiers.
According to Amos, who was paraded at the police Headquarters on Friday, revealed that the engine was given to him from Edo, to hold till it will be sent to its destination.
He said,”A customer gave me the Amplifier from Edo, to bring to Osogbo until it will be sent to its final destination. The person that gave me the message from Edo didn’t pay me, he said when he comes down to Osogbo, that he was going to pay me, we have been working together since together “.
“So, when I had problems, I was sick, my friend told someone that I wanted to sell the amplifiers, so, I sold the 3 engine Amplifiers for 25,000, the person I sold it to, is in Osogbo, we can see the Amplifiers in his shop and we can retrieve it”, he narrated.
The Police condemned the act by the driver and stated that further investigation will be carried out and the suspect will be charged to Court.
