Police in Osun State have paraded two suspected cultists and armed robbers terrorizing Ikire community in Irewole local government area of the State.
The suspects identified as Simileoluwa Akinyele and Blessing Ajao, were alleged of causing havoc around the Osun State University, Ikire campus area.
The duo were paraded by the Police Public Relations Officer of the command, SP Yemisi Opalola on Friday.
Giving fact of the case, Opalola said Akinyele and Ajao are members of unlawful society and they were arrested on Thursday by men of anti-cultism unit of the command.
She said, “On 4/7/2024, upon a tipoff, the above suspects who have been terrorizing Ikire and its environs, were arrested by the Anti-cultism Unit of the Command. Suspects will be charged to court after the investigation. “
