A prominent young politician of the All Progressives Congress (APC) extraction in Osun State, Mr Tele Oyegoke, has called on young professionals, politicians and social stakeholders to come together to work for the development of Osun State, through communal efforts to develop the constituent cities, towns and villages.

Speaking on the side of the 2024 Inisa Day Celebration, Oyegoke said Inisa Day represents a time for all Inisa sons and daughters to converge on the ancient town, to deliberate on, and collaborate for her development. The convergence, he said, is necessary to review the development of the town, and ways to reposition it for greatness.

According to him, “the way to develop Osun State, is for young people who have global exposure and great professional accomplishments to come together, join hands with the older generation, to build our communities, from where a growth spurt for our State will erupt.”

“When I realized this need for participation, I not only returned home to join hands with our elders and leaders to develop Inisa IN Odo-Otin Local Government, I also decided to join the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the most viable channel through which I can attract political and government attention to our dear community.”

Tele Oyegoke, son of the late business mogul and Basorun of Inisa, Kolawole Oyegoke, and a Global player in the Real Estate and Lottery Sectors, encouraged other young people like himself, to commit to the development of their communities, as the launchpad for the development of Osun State and Nigeria. This he said, must then be followed with progressive political participation in a party that will help nurture their vision, like the APC.

While congratulating the Olunisa on Inisa Day 2024, Oyegoke said “Our father, Kabiyesi Oba Joseph Oyedele Fasikun II, the Olunisa of Inisa, has shown great commitment to the development of our community and we all have gathered to show our support for his vision for development. I pray God grants Baba long life in sound health to see Inisa develop into the modern civilization that he has envisioned.

He also congratulated elders and leaders of the ancient town, from the Oluomo of Inisa, Alh. Shuaib Oyedokun, who he described as “a leading light for our town, and a political pathfinder who has put our dear community on the map.”

Oyegoke had glowing words for the Inisa Day 2024 Planning Committee, and Members of Inisa Descendants Union (IDU), for the collective efforts at holding a successful event that has brought thousands of people together from all walks of life.

The Inisa Day 2024 was held today Saturday, 9th November, 2024.
