Former Big Brother Naija housemate Tsakute Jonah, popularly known as Saskay, is carving out a niche for herself as a social media influencer and budding actress.
In a recent chat with Potpourri, Saskay opened up about her goals in the film industry and the kinds of roles she is eager to take on.
“I’m looking to work with people who are producing quality.I’m not just looking for the fame that comes through acting. I want to do something that will speak to the people. I want a role that will make me sit down and take days or weeks to fit into. I want to pour my mind into that role.”
Saskay emphasized her desire for roles that push her out of her comfort zone. “I don’t just want a role where I read the script and go on set. I want a role that will challenge me from who I actually am,” she said.
On what her dream role is, she said: “I really want to play a bad girl kind of role because the few movies I have done recently, they put me in mellow roles—me being a young teenager and all.I want something that is a bit more bubbly. That’s not really who I am. Imagine me playing the role of a party girl—something very rare out there. I’d like to try that.”
