Olusegun Dada, the Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Social Media, has clarified why the president frequently encounters comic actor Abiodun Ayoyinka, popularly known as Papa Ajasco, during his visits to Lagos airport.
President Tinubu received a warm welcome at the Lagos airport on Wednesday as he arrived ahead of the Christmas and New Year festivities.
Among those who greeted him was Papa Ajasco, a moment captured in a video shared by Dada.
Reacting to the footage, a curious user on X wrote, “I’m curious, do they meet every time he’s at Lagos airport? Cos this scene happened months ago too.”
Addressing the question, Dada explained, “I’ve seen this question pop up in my comments a lot.
For context, Papa Ajasco is in charge of the cultural troop that welcomes Mr president whenever he is in Lagos. Hope this helps.”
