Youths, mostly members of the All Progressives Congress in Ilobu, Irepodun local government area of Osun State have set bonfire in front of the residence of former Secretary to the State Government and Chairman of APC Elders Council, Engr. Sola Akinwunmi.
The louse, located at Kuelu area of the town, was stormed by the youth who were protesting alleged removal of name of the Caretaker committee secretary, Ademola Adesina popular known as Guduobe on the instruction of Akinwunmi.
Adesina was announced on Thursday along the caretaker committee chairman, Barrister Adegoke Ogunsola and other members.
InsightMedia gathered that Adesina was informed of the removal of his name by a Commissioner in the State, who’s familiar with the development.
Our Correspondent reported that youths who set up fires at the gate of the house were chanting different songs all telling the APC leader to rescind his decision to remove the name of Adesina.
The youths also called on Governor Gboyega Oyetola to ensure Adesina gets back to the list for the progress of the party in the area.
