The All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state of Osun has charged citizens of the state to be grateful to God for having a transparent, prudent and astute manager of resources like Governor Gboyega Oyetola as the governor of the state.
The party expressed joy and satisfaction with the commendation and assessment by the delegation of the International Economic Relations Department of the Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning which ranked the state of Osun high among the 36 States of the Federation on the prompt implementation of International Donors Funded Projects with prompt release of counterpart funds from the state government.
This was contained in a statement issued from the party’s Directorate of Publicity, Research and Strategy and signed by its Director, Barr Kunle Oyatomi and made available to newsmen on Thursday in Osogbo the state capital.
Oyatomi said that with the commendation by the Federal Ministry of Finance delegation headed by Mr Fagbade Olalekan during the projects supervision in Osun, Governor Oyetola-led APC government is vindicated, adding that it is the recommendation and endorsement of the governor for a second term ticket.
The party eulogized Governor Oyetola for his foresight and being prudent with the available resources and taking the welfare of the entire people of Osun a priority, noting that projects like; Save one million lives projects; where we have 332 health centers across Osun, Rural Access and Mobility projects, Ilesa water supply and many others made the Federal delegation and the entire people of Osun to be proud of having a responsible governor in the state of Osun.
The Party also commended Governor Oyetola for his giant stride in the last 25 months of this administration and lauded his initiatives which have brought about progressive achievements and glory to the state.
Oyatomi pointed out that Oyetola-led APC government ‘is transparent and would also remain transparent for all and sundry in the state to know and see what takes place in the corridor of power’.
Osun APC Chief Publicist explained that those that have not been informed should be told the details of what Oyetola has been doing in the state of Osun, and how the opposition PDP has been trying without success to sabotage visible developmental projects and progress recorded in the state.
According to Oyatomi, “all nonsense and unfounded lies being dished out by the agents of darkness to the public have been totally put to shame by the recent commendation and assessment by the Federal Delegation.
The party therefore called on people of the state not to be deceived by the traducers but to give glory to God for using Gov. Oyetola for executing and bringing progressive developmental projects to the state.
