Three internet fraudsters sentenced to prison in Osun (Names)

 

Justice Nathaniel Ayo-Emmanuel of the Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo, Osun State capital has convicted three internet fraudsters dragged before it by the Ibadan zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

The convicted “Yahoo boys” are Osoko Adesola David, Timilehin Paul Ogunleye and Akinwunmi Emmanuel were convicted after pleading guilty to the charges.

David was sentenced to five months’ imprisonment, while Ogunleye bagged four months and Emmanuel imprisoned for 90 days.

Similarly, Justice Oluremi Oguntoyinbo of Federal High Court, Abeokuta convicted two internet fraudsters and sentenced them to jail terms.

Justice Oguntoyinbo convicted and sentenced Mujeeb Lawal Alabi to three months’ imprisonment while Sulaimon Ayub Damilare bagged four months. The convicts are to restitute their victims and forfeit recovered items to the Federal Government.
