Starsport understands Manchester United and the Gunners are locked in talks over a swap deal involving Mkhitaryan and Alexis Sanchez.
Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho is desperate to land the Arsenal key man and he’s willing to lose Mkhitaryan in the process.
And according to The Independent, the Gunners are confident of agreeing a deal before this weekend.
They claim that Mkhitaryan could make his debut for Arsenal against Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
The Independent also say that talks have accelerated in the last 24 hours as Mkhitaryan has become more open to playing under Arsene Wenger at the Emirates.
