Mrs. Maria Ude Nwachi aka Afikpo chic, member representing Afikpo North East Constituency in the Ebonyi State House of Assembly has been suspended for ‘gross misconduct’.
Mrs. Nwachi was alleged to have posted like a photographer on the street.
The motion for her suspension was moved by Leader of the House, Joseph Nwobasi on the plenary of the house of Wednesday.
The House said “Hon. Nwachi has refused to heed to the earlier warnings to get from the house”
She has now been suspended for 14 days pending the outcome of the investigations on the allegations leveled against her by a special committee constituted by the house.
This will be the second time Afikpo chic will be suspended by the EBSHA. She was also asked to go home in 2016 after it was found that she sponsored a protest against Enugu Electricity Distribution Company, for poor supply of power.
